On/off button also functions as a frequency selector. The selected frequency is displayed with five LED indicators that can have three varied colors.
MFA Viewer displays the frequency band from 3 to 500 kHz in real time. Data logging is done by connecting the MFA500 to your PC and launching the software. MFA Viewer includes a powerful analysis section where you can study the data afterward. With MFA Viewer, you can set the PLC system you are using and the software will adjust the resolution accordingly.
To determine if a PLC disturbance affects your PLC signals, MFA Viewer features a “shadow area” where you easily and clearly will find if a disturbance could impact your data reading. MFA Viewer displays the level in decibel microvolts (dBµV). Several standards, such as EMC, are included to support real time measurements and post-analysis. These standards are represented by a red line in MFA Viewer.

Charging via the mini-USB connector and when connected to PC, the MFA500 has a battery backup for approximately 5 hours.
